october colour feast

October has put on its most happy and amiable face and treats me with bold, warm colours. Leaves in different stages of foliage, warm afternoon sun, peaceful surroundings – a feast before the nature goes into hibernating during winter.

These were shot during my bike tour today and was taken in the surroundings of a nearby church from the 12th century – one of my favourite places. An oasis. Close to the city and still feeling like being on the country side. A place for the eye and mind.

Thanks a lot for kind feedback – so happy that you like my autumn pics!

  2. I love the photograph of the church and of the church path- the lighting, the fallen leaves, the soft colors. Inspiring and refreshing. thanks.

This collage of beautiful fall images is stunning, and makes me nostalgic for the kind of fall I grew up experiencing in the northeast. Here in Texas fall is a bit different. The light and focus in the lavender-colored flower is gorgeous!

  4. Lovely photos. You’re enjoying better weather over in Sweden than we are here in England this October.

As I have said so often before, your photos are as beautiful as the places you visit. It’s peaceful and restful just to look at them. Thank you for sharing your gift!
