September 11 is a day of remembrance. Remembrance of the terror attacks in the US 2001, the horrendous assassination of the Swedish Secretary of Foreign Affairs, Anna Lindh, in 2003 and also a day of personal remembrance. This day started out rainy, grey and cloudy and ended in sunshine which felt appropriate today. I partly spent the day photographing – one of the best ways for me to be contemplative – focused and relaxed at the same time. I found these flowers in one of my favourite gardens in Stockholm – Rosendal (means valley of roses) earlier today. Delicate and soothing beauties.

Beautiful remembrance. Delicate flowers very well captured.
Thank you for kind comments! Remembrance needs quiet, delicate beauty.
