boxingday greetings from latitude 65 N

I took these during a late afternoon walk today. Thanks to the gulf stream even this far north is considered temperate and not arctic here. At lat 65.3 at the North American continent you find Tin City in Alaska – close to the Bering Sea – with a harsh and subarctic climate. So, in comparison with that this part of Sweden is quite fortunate with cold, but not extreme, winters and warm summers.
