a hazy shade of winter

The snapshots of today. Both are straight Out Of the Camera – SOOC.

Hang on to your hopes, my friend.
That’s an easy thing to say,
But if your hopes should pass away
Simply pretend that you can build them again.
Look around,
The grass is high,
The fields are ripe,
It’s the springtime of my life.

Thank you SO MUCH for your praise – it means much. I still consider myself a newbie at photographing, so it means particularly much to get such overwhelming response. I am not yet at Flickr. The camera I use is a bridge camera – Sony DSC-H9 that I got at a closeout price last year. I am quite impressed with its performance – both the tele and the macro. I got it for somewhere around $300, but that is the European price level with VAT etc.

Aghhahh! That’s as close to what came out my mouth as I can type. The sheer beauty of your work takes my breath away. Your header pen profile stunned me with its beauty. The landscape makes me want to write and the the tool to do so awaits me putting myself close to my subject, immersing body and soul in Earth so the ink will flow in rivulets that change the world, at least the world in me and you who read the orgasm of my pen.

Whew! It takes real art to get me writing like that. Thanks.
    Love and Light
