american spring: confused polar bear walks a wildflower walk

Since the spring sprung much earlier than I’m used to and, also, earlier than people here are used to, I sometimes feel like a confused Polar Bear. What to think of summer when winter should barely be over? Why does it look and feel like birthdaytime without a birthday (a Narnian situation)? Why does the sun set long before it should at when the nature looks like this? Many questions, but I think the only answer is: Kick of the shoes and enjoy!

  1. Beautiful photos! It definitely seems to have been an unusual spring out East.
