The weather and I were quite well coordinated today. Lots of rain. But after rain comes sun and the day ended in sunshine and the sun is now setting as I look out through my study window. On my way home I captured a few shots. Wet lilacs and roses in the evening light. And a little snail. Frail and persistent, braving the dangers of snailing about on the pavement together with its snail friends after the rain.

Lovely photos, you’re very talented! I hope you named the snail :)
Thank you! :D It didn’t tell me its name, but it agreed to be my little snail pal. :)
Beautiful, saturated, shiny wetness. It’s cooling just to look at these shots!
Thank you! :D
The snail is wonderful. Looks like a little character- all alone there in the dangerous world but oblivious of the dangers nevertheless.
I did move it and its friends to under a bush.
As always, a beautiful post from you Lady Dandelion, and the photo of the snail is a true delight.
Thank you. :)
Great pictures! )
Thank you! :)
Nice Coltrane reference there…
Unfortunately unintended, but I’m happy you made the connection. :)
Lovely!
Thank you!
