our daily bread

Few things beat eating fresh, homemade bread. The scent of it alone makes it worth baking. It is also so good to eat a bread knowing exactly what it has been made of – no preserves, no sugar, no overload of salt or fat – only flour (wheat & rye), steel cut grains (rye, barley and oat), water, yeast, salt, and some oil for the forms. Very cheap and delicious – and easy to make. Especially when you get some routine.
