I was going through and sorting old photos and stumbled over a folder with photos from Tuscany and Florence which I took a few years ago. Looking at the photos made me forget the cold, hazy October weather for a while and instead dream a little of Tuscany – the food, the landscape, the beautiful Italian language, the scent from pine and – of course – the wine. The Visconti pens are actually made in Florence, where one also can find a Visconti museum where one can see both pens from their regular production and the more spectacular ones (some of them are quite over the top…at least for me). I’ve not been there myself, but think I will go there next time I visit Florence. A beautiful, classic town that is best to visit a bit off season when it is not too crowded.
