more than 100k visits – celebration giveaway

I was amazed to find that the lady dandelion blog had passed 100k  visits when I was away in great country on the other side of the pond! I don’t know if that is particularly much compared with others, but I am humbled and very happy that there is such an interest to read a blog with as narrow a focus as mine (pens, paper, ink and photos from Sweden). Thank you dear readers! It warms my heart and makes me very happy.

To celebrate this milestone I’ll give away a little unpretentious writing kit to one randomly chosen winner. The little kit consists of;

1. Oxford (red/black) hard bound notebook. About the same size as Rhodia webbie and with real nice, fountainpen friendly paper.

2. A little no-name field notebook. Not the most fp friendly paper, but useful on the go.

3. J Herbin Rouge Bourgogne. A beautiful, well behaved red ink. Very nice in a broader/flexy/italic nib.

4. 2 packs of Delta Cartridges. A pack w blue (very nice) and a pack 2 w (happy) orange cartridges. International standard sizes.

5. Matisse Postcards. A lil bunch of double postcards/notecards with Matisse paintings with matching envelopes.

To participate in the drawing:

Write a comment on this post. If you want to mention why you like the lady dandelion blog I’d be grateful, but it is not necessary to participate in the drawing.

The comment must be posted before 11 pm GMT (6 pm EST and 00.00 CET) Sunday February 27. I’ll announce a winner March 1st. Since you have to leave your e-mail address to be able to make a comment I’ll contact the winner. If the winner hasn’t replied within 3 days after announcement I’ll draw another winner. Good luck!

high voltage

…sunset at the railway cross. “Livsfarlig ledning” means “Hazardous high voltage”. I took these walking home today and yesterday. Snaps on the go. Probably the last snaps from a walk at lat 60 for a while. Heading south and across the ocean to the North American winter at lat 4o and thereabouts. People have warned me for the winter there, that it can’t be that much of fun to travel in the mud and slush there, but a Polar Bear has no problems with such. The only thing I fear is the lack of preparation for snow. Here we’re quite used to it (even if some politician seems to forget that this is a country that gets snow in the winters too). Thus I’ll probably not get time or opportunity to post more than a snap or two the coming weeks, but I hope you’ll not give up on the lady dandelion blog even if it hibernates for a few weeks. You could always leave a comment below and tell me what you’d wish me to write about. So: À bientôt. And don’t forget that it is not good for you to eat yellow snow.
