…and the sun finally made it…

…through the heavy, grey clouds in the end of the day, enhancing the autumnal colours and suddenly the world came to life. I suspect that there is no coincidence that Scandinavians and Britons are obsessed with the weather. I’ll try not to make this into a weather site…:) It might be a little daft, but there we are. When the light starts to return in the spring and you can feel the warmth in the sun, you can see Swedes sitting outdoors  in the cold with their faces turned to the sun – just like flowers. Cute and touching.

Some autumnal photos will follow.

A few words on pens

Since I was a kid I’ve enjoyed writing with a special pen. A special pen doesn’t have to be expensive or beautiful or exclusive. A special pen is a pen that my hand feels at home with; that makes the hand feel relaxed and focused on writing, yet experiencing the tactical pleasure of putting the pen to the paper. The pen above is one of my current favourites. It has a stubbish – slightly calligraphic – nib and is so comfortable to write with that it feels like I could write with it forever and ever.
