frosty iron oxide

A few shots from my long walk today. A cold, crisp day. The parish has three churches. One from the 12th/13th century and two from the 20th century. This was built around 1950 and I do think they managed to make a modern church in a classic style that is timeless – uniting tradition and modernity. After walking by this church I walked up to my other favourite place and thought a little about the huge amount of time (at least in a human perspective) that has passed between the building of the first church here and this second church.
