Thanksgiving is one of the most sympathetic holidays there is. Remembrance of what there is to be grateful for is rather important – even – or maybe in particular – during life’s more bleak patches. I think it is a pity that it hasn’t been spread over the world as other North American holidays. Maybe it is becauase it isn’t – beside the food – a big, commercial holiday. I’ve decided to import a little bit of the Thanksgiving and think a little extra of absent friends as I lit the candles in the dark November evening. Happy Thanksgiving!
The photos below were taken on Boxing Day last year.
Thank you. Happy Thanksgiving to you too. :)
Being thankful is how you reverse the narrowing of focus on one’s life. It would be good if we could be thankful everyday.
I have lots of things to be thankful for this year in particular…
And thanks to you Lady Dandelion, for your wonderful blog…always a joy to look at it…
