I took a long walk by the stream today. Cold, cloudy, damp and very beautiful. This is taken where the stream flows into the lake. It is so good for the mind to take long walks. The walking pace – even if one walks fast – promotes a contemplating mood that makes the efficient part of the mind rest. It is amazing how often problems are solved during walks – while the mind is focused on something completely different than solving problems. Instead of chasing solutions it is like the solutions come by themselves.
