boots by the lake

It is cold near the big lake and thus warm, comfy boots is a must. These below are from Florence – bought a warm, sunny day in May when October seemed very far away… it seems like I cannot let the thoughts of spring rest. But it was beautiful down the lake today. A deserted tiny harbour for small boats – only a few left. An occasional walker, an abandoned summer restaurant, and me, a thermos with caffé latte, a camera, a few pens and my journal. Perfect solitude.
