I should have learned by now to never leave a “real” camera home even if I’m just going for a short walk having a cold in the cold. It was a stunning, frosty day; made to be captured in a few shots and I couldn’t resist taking a few snap shots with my phone camera. The result was fairly OK – the colour balance has a lot left (despite my desperate attempts to tweak it and later on adjust it) and the clarity is so-so, but works if you don’t intend to do more than looking on them in a smaller size on a screen. I’m happy I tried and thus can share a few glimpses of my stunning winter walk. I will get myself a pair of smartphone friendly gloves – my fingers took a pretty bad hit by snapping these.

These photos are beautiful! I do most of my walk photos on my phone nowadays. I’m lazy and it’s easier!
Thank you! I actually find it easier to use my camera – it’s more fuss using the smart phone camera – and the fingers get sooo cold ;)
They are a good collection. The fact you have taken them on a phone does not show. It is not the equipment you use that makes a good picture it is the eye that saw it.
Thank you so much. :D
