I was amazed to find that the lady dandelion blog had passed 100k visits when I was away in great country on the other side of the pond! I don’t know if that is particularly much compared with others, but I am humbled and very happy that there is such an interest to read a blog with as narrow a focus as mine (pens, paper, ink and photos from Sweden). Thank you dear readers! It warms my heart and makes me very happy.
To celebrate this milestone I’ll give away a little unpretentious writing kit to one randomly chosen winner. The little kit consists of;
1. Oxford (red/black) hard bound notebook. About the same size as Rhodia webbie and with real nice, fountainpen friendly paper.
2. A little no-name field notebook. Not the most fp friendly paper, but useful on the go.
3. J Herbin Rouge Bourgogne. A beautiful, well behaved red ink. Very nice in a broader/flexy/italic nib.
4. 2 packs of Delta Cartridges. A pack w blue (very nice) and a pack 2 w (happy) orange cartridges. International standard sizes.
5. Matisse Postcards. A lil bunch of double postcards/notecards with Matisse paintings with matching envelopes.
THANK YOU ALL SO VERY MUCH FOR YOUR LOVELY, ENCOURAGING COMMENTS! I feel humble and very happy for you taking your time to write them. The little giveaway is now closed and winners will (at the latest) be announced March 1st around noon (CET).
I Love this site…living in a small Canadian city, I never see such beautiful instruments in person…your photos are as delectable to me as photos of food!
My father was a civil engineer and when I was young he bought me wonderful German drawing pens that had to be hand filled…leaving me with a real appreciation for writing instruments. Writing with real ink is such a sensual experience…now that I do everything on a laptop, writing a letter with the hotpink Lamy fountain pen my daughter bought me is a truly relaxing and pleasing treat.
Thanks for presenting the beauty and engineering elegance of these tools.
Congratulations!
Love your photos, especially #dailyarsenal.
Great giveaway. Thanks for hosting such a great blog.
Seth
I love your photos. They have a lovely quality and your composition is visually striking. Congrats on a successful blog and thanks for sponsoring such a generous giveaway!
Dear Lady Dandelion,
Congratulations on reaching such a wonderful milestone! I read your blog because it combines thoughtful reviews and beautiful pictures.Your commentary and lovely pictures such as that before the iroshizuku shin-ryoku ink review makes me feel as if I’ve visited Sweden on beautiful May evening when the light goes on forever!
All the best,
Barbara
Congrats on the 100k visits. Thanks for all the great reviews!
100k, that’s quite a lot! :) Hope you had a great trip to the States.
I’m someone who loves pens & notebooks of all types. Your reviews are spot on and so detailed, and your photos are enchanting. I get your blog & appreciate its content. Thanks for hosting this amazing giveaway.
How lovely to have you back!
Looking forward to receiving my lovely and generous prize :)
Tony
Happy Bloggiversary!! I love your reviews, even if it makes me want more pen/paper/ink. Lovely writing packet, thanks for giveaway.
Hey, what’s not for love here? Pens, Paper, Ink, Note books, Svierge, ha! I’ve got the reputation of being a writer. I don’t know exactly why. I LOVE to read and I love to write, but I love even more to read and write about writers who love to read and write about writing! I’ve been to Goteborg but didn’t know until later that Ballograf (one of my favorite Ballpoint pens) comes from there. And I buy pens and paper and note books every week, despite having absolutely NO ROOM for said sundry. I love this blog because it has great graphics and spectacular photos of all these wonderfull things I do so dearly love. Maybe one day, there will be a support group for all of us, or some kind of house we can all live in and several stores in town we can visit once a week at least, that houses these lovely items where we can peruse and purchase said items…and blog about them.
Congrats on 100k visits!

Congratulations! It’s not surprising you’ve got that many views on here. Your posts are amazing, especially the pen reviews (I literally drool over those), and the photos are all ridiculously good.
Keep up the awesome work, and thank you for the giveaway!
Congrats on the milestone…
Looks a great prize!
The pen/ink/journal reviews are great, but I find that I keep coming back for the photos. Congratulations on the milestone. I hope your trip was awesome!
I really enjoy your photos and your handwriting. Fun blog. Congrats and thanks for the giveaway opportunity.
I love pens in general, and I especially love your photos of pens. It is clear you are passionate about both your photos and your pens.
I first came to Lady Dandelion for the thorough pen reviews with excellent photos of the pens and, in the time I’ve been reading your posts, have learned quite a bit about pens, nibs, inks and paper. Oh, seeing pics of Sweden is the icing on the cake! Your photos continue to inspire. I don’t know how you manage to run this blog, take daily or near daily photos, maintain presence in other internet places, AND study law.
Great giveaway! And congrats!!
I adore your blog. I love the pens and paper… glimpses at your handwriting. I also enjoy your photos. ^^
I hope you keep blogging… for a long long time to come.
Take care and thank you!
Congratulations on the 100 K reader milestone and thanks for the chance to win!
Why do I like visiting your blog, Lady D?
The reviews, obviously, but also the fine photography. And the fact that I’ve got a thing about all things Swedish…
All the best and congratulations on 100k+ views! I’m getting there, too.
Congratulations on your milestone! Am drooling over the Matisse cards in the giveaway; would love to be the lucky winner. You are very kind to offer these freebies to your readers!
1ook visitors is very immpressive by anyone standards, well done. I think you already know that your blog is one of my guilty pleasures.
Congratulations! :-)
I’m regular reader of this blog and apart from stationary stuff, I like the photos on this blog.
Count me in for the giveaway! Thanx.
Det är roligt att se att det finns fler pennintresserade svenskar! =)
Dina inlägg, både här och på FPN, är intressanta att läsa, och allt som oftast är de proppfulla med vackra foton.
Always a pleasure to visit Lady Dandelion. Beautiful blog and this is a wonderful giveaway.
Count me it as well
I always enjoy reading this blog. count me in
Congrats!
I hope I win, I would love to try this stuff.
I am a man from a land of sun and I like lands of ice, photos, pens, mechanical pens and cofee!
Thanks for giveaway!
Good luck for all!!

Thanks for the giveaway! The package looks amazing.
Like Becca, I too came for the pen & ink reviews but I enjoy your photography even more. Your artistry takes me out of my self and gives me something to daydream about when my days become hard and cold. Please keep taking the photos!
And yes, I’d like a try at the give away, too.
Congrats on 100k!
Having won some nice ink previously, I will decline in favour of another if chance points towards me. However, I did want to say that it is sometimes not possible to define why one enjoys something inherently wonderful, and so you pose a question for your giveaway which seems nigh impossible. Unless one merely says, “Pretty pictures! Pens!”
Det är skoj att följa nån som är penfantast – och som talar svenska. =)
I enjoy your reviews and photos. Keep up the awesome job! Thanks for the chance to win!
Wow, 100k visitors! Congrats on that milestone. I’ve not had chance to visit as often as I’d like in recent months, but love looking at your wonderful photos. Plus of course the pens, still very happy to own one of the pens that featured on here!
I love your handwriting and your cool collection of pens. I also think that your photographs are amazing! I always wish that I could be a good photographer but I’m not so I live vicariously.
Great giveaway! I guess I came for the pen and ink reviews, but I stayed for your photographs.
Lovely giveaway items for a lovely site.
Keep up the good work! Congratulations.
I love your reviews and the daily arsenal section. I’m interested in learning about different pens and, especially, what it’s like to use them every day.
And your photos of the natural world are beautiful. I always enjoy those posts!
FPN member here, well done on 100K. I enjoy your reviews and look forward to many more. I’m off to try out some Akkerman ink in my new Homo Sapiens …
Congratulations. You indeed work hard on your blog and that must pay off. 100 K visitors is truly impressive. BT
Thank you once again for the kind give-away. Imagine all the knowledge I gain on Pens and paper here, plus the chance to win great gifts.
I like your ink reviews (the reason I found you at first) – I’m realising I should explore the rest of your site too!
I think I love your photography the most — I started reading this blog for the pens, but I’ve found myself captivated by non-pen posts all the time, even though I don’t know much about photography.
That are some nice items for your giveaway! Thanks for the chance.
I really like your writing style, and I’ve discovered the world of different inks via your blog.
Thank you for such positive comments. :) Forgot 2 mention that constructive criticism on the blog is very welcome too.
Why do I like ladydandelion.net? Quite simply because it rocks. Pens and photography at the same time is a recipe for fun. Also, apparently, for 100K visitors!
What an interesting giveaway! I like your crisp writing style and the name “Lady Dandelion”.

Strong yet beautiful presentations of not only pens / etc, but also thoughtful photography. I hope to follow Lady – D for a long time & I’m sending best wishes for continued success
I finally got your blog in my feedreader. One of the happy thousands! Love it! The ink sounds great. I’ve had my eyes on some J Herbin ink.
I too am a relatively new reader having found an interest in pens, papers and blogs on the topic.
Congratulations! I like seeing beautiful and colorful photos here. Inspiring. :) Happy for you, my friend. Now, onto the next 100k.
Tjolahopp. Du är fantastisk- glöm aldrig det! Puss.
Congrats! The only thing I like more than the pens is the photography! ;-)
Congratulations! That’s an excellent blog milestone, though I’m certainly not surprised to hear it.
Though I’m a relatively new reader of your blog, I’m struck by the clear and graceful writing style and the beautiful photography. Your images remind me why I miss Sweden so much, even though I only spent eight short days there. (And, of course, I adore the pen/ink/paper posts, selfishly, as relevant to my own interests.)
Cool! Just sold seven bottles of ink I wasn’t using, then found myself at the weekend buying some Herbin cartridges, “just for the tin.”
